Condolences to the family of MCA NASHVILLE artist GEORGE STRAIT, whose father, JOHN BYRON STRAIT passed YESTERDAY (6/4) at age 91.

“We are grateful for the time over the last few weeks we were able to spend with DADDY before he passed away,” stated GEORGE. “I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time as we mourn our family’s loss.”

JOHN was a junior high school mathematics teacher, as well as a rancher on his property outside of BIG WELLS, TX.

The funeral service will be private, reserved for friends and family only, with donations requested in lieu of gifts to THE JENIFER STRAIT MEMORIAL FOUNDATION.
