WIND-A Golf Outing Honors WWII Vets

SALEM COMMUNICATIONS Talk WIND-A (560 THE ANSWER)/CHICAGO AM afternoon host STEVE COCHRAN’s fifth annual charity golf outing raised $19,224 for HONOR FLIGHT CHICAGO. The sold-out golf fundraiser was held on THURSDAY, JUNE 6th at the BOLINGBROOK GOLF CLUB.

Around 142 golfers joined STEVE COCHRAN and morning show co-host AMY JACOBSON for a round of golf, then hosted his afternoon show live from the course. Following the live broadcast, a dinner banquet was held where the 27 WWII veterans in attendance were honored, and the check for $19,224; the amount will enable HONOR FLIGHT CHICAGO to take an additional 38 WWII veterans to WASHINGTON, D.C., to see the WWII Memorial built in their honor.
