It's Official: Blair Garner To Wakeup WNSH/New York

As ALL ACCESS originally rumored last MONTH (NET NEWS 5/7) AFTER MIDNITE host BLAIR GARNER has officially been named host of CUMULUS Country WNSH (NASH-FM)/NEW YORK’s “AMERICA’s MORNING SHOW.”
The show will debut later this month, and feature co-hosts TERRI CLARK, SUNNY SWEENEY, CHUCK WICKS and LEE ANN WOMACK -- with news provided by HLN’s ROBIN MEADE. Former SONY NASHVILLE VP/Marketing & Web Initiative HEATHER McBEE will also join in an off-air role, as Dir./Operations.
"The collection of talent assembled for AMERICA's Morning Show is without equal.This show will bring the superstars of country to listeners in an authenticentertaining way not done before," said CUMULUS EVP/Co-COO JOHN DICKEY.
"I am thrilled to begin waking up the NEW YORK area’s Country listeners on NASH FM 94.7 with an uplifting Country start to the day," GARNER said. "NEW YORKERS are embracing NASH FM in an amazing way and I look forward to bringing the Country music lifestyle to the BIG APPLE straight from NASHVILLE."
The show will feature "a mix of Country hits, in-studio interviews with Country music's biggest stars and news about the Country lifestyle -– with NEW YORK area traffic, weather and information updated throughout the show."
“America's Morning Show” will originate live from NASHVILLE before a studio audience, with frequent broadcasts from NASH FM 94.7 studios in NEW YORK.
When GARNER joins WNSH, it will be a return to NEW YORK; he previously hosted afternoons at Hot AC WPLJ before moving to the Country format.
