BAKER BROADCASTING's Rock Simulcast of KHDR/KHRQ (96.9/94.9 THE DRIVE)/BARSTOW, CA has flipped to Active Rock and named current morning show host JEREMY JAMES the new PD/MD. JAMES is a 15 year radio veteran with a previous stint as PD for KTRZ/RIVERTON, WY.

KHDR/KHRQ is part of the KHWY Inc. three station cluster serving residents of the MOJAVE DESERT, with a focus on travelers to and from LAS VEGAS on I-15 from VICTORVILLE, CA to NEVADA State Line, as well as travelers to and from LAUGHLIN, CA on I-40 from BARSTOW to NEEDLES, reaching approximately 350,000 residents and up to three million travelers on the highway each month.

THE DRIVE is now branding itself as "The number one source for everything Rock in LAS VEGAS and SO CAL" with features like "VEGAS ROCK REPORT" and "SO CAL ROCKS REPORT" each playing eight times a day with the latest concert and entertainment updates.
