iHeartRadio Listeners Think Paul McCartney Is 'A Cool Dad'

With Father’s Day this weekend, iHEARTRADIO asked listeners who they thought was the coolest dad in music, and SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY took the prize! Survey respondents also thought that BLAKE SHELTON would make a good father. The survey respondents include a random sample of more than 1,000 of iHEARTRADIO’s Active Listener population. The survey was conducted via a one-time cross-sectional online survey. When asked, "Father's Day is coming up. Who is the coolest dad in music?" iHEART listeners responded:

1. PAUL MCCARTNEY 21.4%
2. JAY-Z 16.9%
3. STEVEN TYLER 16.0%
4. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 15.5%
5. EMINEM 12.8%
6. DAVE GROHL 8.7%
7. GAVIN ROSSDALE 5.6%
8. CHRIS MARTIN 3.1%

Asked, "Which star -- who doesn't have kids yet -- would make the best father?" They responded:

1. BLAKE SHELTON 41.3%
2. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE 36.1%
3. ADAM LEVINE 11.2%
4. MARCUS MUMFORD 4.5%
5. MACKLEMORE 4.4%
6. J. COLE 2.5%
