Liberty U. Sells Roanoke FM Translator

LIBERTY UNIVERSITY, INC. is selling the construction permit for FM translator W231CJ/ROANOKE, VA to CALVARY CHAPEL OF ROANOKE for $20,000.

In other filings with the FCC, GEORGE S. FLINN, JR. has applied for Silent STAs for WMUT/GRENADA, MS and KBUD/SARDIS, MS while they switch program source and replace equipment.

And CHARLES WILLIAMSON has closed on the sale of FM translator W290CI/COOPERSTOWN, NY to WSKG PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL for $20,000.

In a deal yet to show up in the FCC database, THE CLAIR GROUP is selling Christian AC KMFC (JOY 92 FM)/CENTRALIA-COLUMBIA, MO to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $515,000.  GREG GUY and JASON JAMES of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as brokers for the seller.

In another deal yet to pop up at the Commission, TOWER INVESTMENT TRUST is selling KLOW/RENO-PARIS, TX to CRETA CARTER's VISION MEDIA, INC. for $125,000.  MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's BILL WHITLEY served as exclusive broker for the deal.
