ENTERCOM Sports WEEI-F/BOSTON is partnering with the BOSTON RED SOX and MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL to donate 1,000 tickets for THURSDAY's SOX-TORONTO BLUE JAYS game at FENWAY PARK to several groups and individuals affected by, or involved in the response to, the BOSTON MARATHON bombing.
Tickets will be distributed to first responders from the BOSTON Police and Fire departments and EMS workers, the BOSTON ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION, the communities of DORCHESTER, ARLINGTON, and MEDFORD, the MASSACHUSETTS State Police and National Guard, and area hospitals.
“On behalf of ENTERCOM and WEEI, we send our deepest appreciation for the bravery and service of these responders during our city’s time of need,” said VP/Market Manager JEFF BROWN. “We are forever grateful for their heroism and hope this small gesture brings a smile to some faces across BOSTON on THURSDAY evening.”
