Darren Daulton Diagnosed With Two Brain Tumors

Former PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES catcher and present GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA host DARREN "DUTCH" DAULTON has been diagnosed with two brain tumors and will be undergoing surgery early next week, the station announced TODAY (6/27).

DAULTON hosts "TALKING BASEBALL WITH DUTCH"  6-7p (ET) weeknights on the station during baseball season.  He played for the PHILLIES for 13 seasons, including the 1993 NATIONAL LEAGUE champions, and then played a season for the then-FLORIDA MARLINS and earned a WORLD SERIES ring when the MARLINS won the championship in 1997.

He is also known for his interest in the paranormal, the occult, and numerology, writing a book on the subject in 2007.
