SALEM Talk WIND-A (AM 560 THE ANSWER)/CHICAGO afternoon host STEVE COCHRAN has exited the station, according to CHICAGO media reporter ROBERT FEDER.

COCHRAN exited THURSDAY after declining a contract renewal, reports FEDER, with an email to advertisers from the station saying, "This decision is a mutual one between STEVE and the radio station. STEVE has decided to pursue other opportunities, and we are parting ways amicably. We greatly appreciate the hard work that STEVE has invested in the radio station and into his show. We wish him well in his future endeavors."

COCHRAN continues to host 10a-noon on CH HOLDINGS Talk KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS.  Recently-added evening host JOE WALSH is expected to move to afternoons at WIND, with veteran talker DAN DEIBERT filling in for now.
