BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP is the subject of a new "FORBES" magazine article that dubs the company, "Country’s Hottest Label." The piece says, "BIG MACHINE is big business. It’s a private company, which means that its financials aren’t open to the public. But FORBES estimates that the label pulls in revenues in the high eight-figures, a sum BORCHETTA didn’t deny. With margins in excess of 20% -- far higher in certain years -- he says the company’s value could easily be nine figures. $200 million, anybody? 'There are people who would buy it for that' says BORCHETTA. 'But it’s not for sale'."

Other Country artists to be represented in "FORBES" this MONTH include BLUE CHAIR RECORDS/COLUMBIA NASHVILLE artist KENNY CHESNEY for his BLUE CHAIR BAY RUM endeavor, and SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL artist TOBY KEITH, who will both featured in the "Celebrity 100" issue (NET NEWS 6/27). KEITH holds the cover story titled "TOBY KEITH, Cowboy Capitalist: Country’s $500 Million Man."
