Mario Cecchini Returning To Corus

ASTRAL RADIO SVP/Sales and Marketing MARIO CECCHINI is returning to CORUS ENTERTAINMENT, effective SEPTEMBER 2nd.  CECCHINI will oversee CORUS' radio and broadcast TV stations in Eastern ONTARIO, including the OTTAWA, KINGSTON, CORNWALL, and PETERBOROUGH clusters, and QUÉBEC specialty TV stations.  The OTTAWA and QUÉBEC properties are pending CRTC approval.  CECCHINI joined ASTRAL in 2011 and formerly served as VP of CORUS' QUÉBEC properties.

CECCHINI will oversee CBC affiliate CHEX-TV, Classic Hits CKRU (100.5 KRUZ-FM), and Active Rock CKWF (THE WOLF 101.5)/PETERBOROUGH; CBC affiliate CHEX-TV-2 (CHANNEL 12 DURHAM)/OSHAWA-DURHAM, ON; CBC affiliate CKWS-TV, Classic Hits CKWS-F, and Classic Rock CFMK (FM 96)/KINGSTON, ON; Classic Hits CJSS and Hot AC CFLG (VARIETY 104.5)/CORNWALL, ON; and, subject to CRTC approval, Active Rock CKQB (106.9 THE BEAR) and Classic Hits CJOT (BOOM 99.7)/OTTAWA and cable TV networks TELETOON, TELETOON RETRO, and SERIES+.
