Hal Ramey Back At KCBS After Vocal Cord Surgery

CBS RADIO News KCBS-A-KFRC-F/SAN FRANCISCO sports anchor HAL RAMEY has returned to the air after surgery to remove a growth on his vocal cords that took him off the air for over four months.

WALNUT CREEK PATCH reports that RAMEY returned to the air JULY 1st after having to remain silent for months.

“It wasn’t really a health issue,” RAMEY told the website. “It just took away my ability to speak. And in my job, that’s not a good thing.”
