AOL® RADIO has launched a new station called, "ANIME RADIO" programmed by PETE SCHIECKE. The station features a playlist of favorite songs from the most popular ANIME TV shows including COWBOY BEBOP, INUYASHA, GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX, HACK, SAMURAI CHAMPLOO, FULL METAL ALCHEMIST, among others.
The station was developed in response to listener demand following very successful launches of "VIDEO GAME SCORES" and the "JAPANESE POP" stations.
“ANIME is bigger than ever in the U.S., and the music that accompanies this popular Japanese animation is incredibly diverse and moving,” said PETE SCHIECKE. “AOL RADIO not only caters to the mainstream, but we also take pride in being the leader when it comes to creating new compelling radio stations targeted towards niche audiences. Our listeners asked for this channel, and we were excited to give it to them.”
