It's 'Peanut Butter 'N July' Again At WBT

GREATER MEDIA Talk WBT-A-F/CHARLOTTE's afternoon host JOHN HANCOCK is again teaming up with supermarket chain HARRIS TEETER and JIF, collecting peanut butter for food banks in the region in the second annual "PEANUT BUTTER 'N JULY" campaign to help benefit SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF METROLINA.

The campaign is intended to promote the fact that protein-rich peanut butter is a hot commodity for food banks and recipients.   WBT and HANCOCK will be collecting jars at 37 participating HARRIS TEETER stores, and HANCOCK will be broadcasting live each SATURDAY this month from different HARRIS TEETER stores, including at PLAZA MIDWOOD on the 13th, NORTH CHARLOTTE on the 20th, and BALLANTYNE on the 27th.
