TUNEIN has inked a deal with MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL's BASEBALL INTERACTIVE RIGHTS COMPANY (BIRCO) to offer free access to live online broadcasts of minor league games.
"Listening to baseball on the radio is a great American pastime, and by partnering with MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, we are bringing fans a way to enjoy baseball in ways they’ve never been able to do before,” said TUNEIN CEO JOHN DONHAM. “Opening up the world of MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL to TUNEIN listeners brings us one step closer to our goal of offering all the world’s audio to people from wherever they are.”
“MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL is excited about its new partnership with TUNEIN, and the ability to offer the more than 40 million monthly active listeners on TUNEIN access to live games. We believe this partnership will afford passionate fans an even more expansive and fulfilling connection to their favorite teams and players no matter where they are in the world,” said MiLB VP, BIRCO & Business Services BRIAN EARLE.
