Country Grabs Its Share of Marconi Finalists

Country Well Represented

Country radio stations and personalities are well represented among finalists announced TODAY (7/15) for the 2013 NAB MARCONI RADIO AWARDS, which honor excellence in broadcasting. Nine COUNTRY personalities and seven radio stations across all market sizes are included.

Finalists for Country Station Of The Year include ZIMMER RADIO's KCLR/COLUMBIA, MO; COX MEDIA’s KKBQ/HOUSTON; CBS RADIO’s WDSY/PITTSBURGH; COOKEVILLE COMMUNICATIONS' WGSQ/COOKEVILLE, TN and CBS RADIO’s WUSN/CHICAGO.

Winners will be announced on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th at the NAB RADIO MARCONI AWARDS, held during the 2013 RADIO SHOW at the ROSEN SHINGLE CREEK HOTEL in ORLANDO, FL.
