WOR's Jeff McKinney: Internet Sensation 'Cubicle Guy'?

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK reporter JEFF MCKINNEY has, apparently, gone viral, becoming an Internet sensation merely for sticking his head over a cubicle partition while controversial NEW YORK politician ANTHONY WEINER and his wife HUMA ABEDIN gave a press conference to address WEINER's new "Carlos Danger" scandal.

POLITICO reports that MCKINNEY, who worked at CBS RADIO Talk WCCO-A/MINNEAPOLIS, MERLIN MEDIA News WIQI (FM NEWS 101.1)/CHICAGO, and TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO before WOR, was "possibly" the reporter whose head appeared, mostly in partially obscured manner (like neighbor Wilson on "HOME IMPROVEMENT"), behind WEINER at the press conference on TUESDAY (7/23), mentioned mostly as "cubicle guy" in a large number of tweets.  TMZ weighed in with, "During the media conference, a creepy guy behind a cubicle kept popping up behind Weiner like a whac-a-mole. At one point, the guy waved ... it was pretty hilarious."  And NEW YORK MAGAZINE offered a Frequently Asked Questions page about "Cubicle Guy," complete with a musical video tribute.
