ESPN Radio Annual V Foundation Auction Raises $781K

ESPN RADIO’s “Don’t Give Up ESPYS V FOUNDATION Auction” raised $781,258, and, when combiled with the ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic, the event took in over $1.9 Million for THE V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH, founded by the late basketball coach and ESPN commentator JIM VALVANO.

ESPN RADIO held a live auction on JULY 17th after an online auction JULY 7-17.

“The ESPN Radiothon is a fun-filled and lively way to raise awareness about cancer and to raise funds to defeat it,” said SUSAN BRAUN, CEO of THE V FOUNDATION. “This year, our wonderful colleagues at ESPN raised more than $781,000, all of which directly comes to THE V FOUNDATION. Each donation funds cutting edge cancer research aimed at putting an end to cancer.
