MADELEINE BRAND, let go by SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial News-Talk KPCC/PASADENA-LOS ANGELES last year, has landed at crosstown SANTA MONICA COLLEGE noncommercial News-Talk-Triple A KCRW/SANTA MONICA-LOS ANGELES to host a new one-hour show weekdays at noon "toward the end of the year," according to THE WRAP's SHARON WAXMAN.

BRAND said that she will also be working on a national foreign affairs show, "AMERICA ABROAD," once a month.  She declined to talk about her former station, from which she left with some acrimony.
