Allan Handelman Joins WSJS For Afternoons

Market veteran ALLAN HANDELMAN is returning to CURTIS MEDIA in GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM to host afternoons at Talk WSJS-A, starting AUGUST 5th.  HANDLEMAN, who hosted afternoons on sister Talk WZTK (FM TALK 101.1) before that station flipped to Spanish-language programming (as Regional Mexican WYMY (LA LEY 101.1)) in APRIL, 2012, replaces BOB CAMPBELL, who is leaving to move to music radio.  HANDELMAN has been continuing to host his syndicated weekend shows since FM TALK 101.1's demise.

“I really missed that afternoon connection with NORTH CAROLINA listeners from the TRIAD region,” HANDELMAN said. “There are so many interesting things to talk about that most other shows either neglect or don't know how to handle.”
