WBMW Gets A Power Increase

FULL POWER RADIO INC. AC WBMW (SOFT ROCK 106.5)/NEW LONDON, CT will be quadrupling its signal with an increase from 6,000 watts to 25,000 watts in HD audio, with a coverage that will now reach over 500,000 people.  

According to WBMW Owner JOHN FULLER, "It’s loud and clear everywhere!  We cover an extra seven miles in most directions and have a stronger punch on the dial especially to economy radios that only receive a couple of stations."

VP/Programming and Engineering BRIAN RHEAUME commented, "The power increase is dramatic, since WQGN and WCTY operate with 3,000 watts each.  We worked hand-in-hand with the FCC to get the green light with this project, and now, the station blazes into WINDHAM COUNTIES and up and down the shoreline."  

WBMW Sales Mgr. TIM BURROWS added, "There has never been a better time to be a local broadcaster.  People are on the go and radio goes with them, in the car and at work, and radio has doubled its listening potential with online listening.  We have a passion for the radio industry."
