Paul Finebaum's ESPN Radio Show To Debut August 12th, Cumulus To Handle DIstribution

The debut of PAUL FINEBAUM's ESPN RADIO show is now set for AUGUST 12th at 2p (ET), with CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS enlisted to distribute the show for terrestrial radio.  CUMULUS, which, through its acquisition of CITADEL and Sports WJOX/BIRMINGHAM, was embroiled in a long-running legal entanglement with FINEBAUM which ended earlier this year, will give ESPN RADIO affiliates first crack at the show, which will be based in CHARLOTTE.  WJOX and sister Sports WAPI-F will air the show in BIRMINGHAM; WJOX was FINEBAUM's flagship for his previous show, regionally syndicated as well as on SIRIUS XM RADIO.

FINEBAUM will also continue to appear on ESPN television and in ESPN THE MAGAZINE, and will be simulcast on ESPN's new SEC NETWORK when it launches in AUGUST 2014.
