DAVID STEIN, former SPORTING NEWS and FOX SPORTS RADIO host, has been joined by his wife, LEANNA, for THE RISE & STEIN MORNING SHOW on WAR HILL FELLOWSHIP Contemporary Christian WWEV (VICTORY 91.5)/ATLANTA.  

LEANNA stopped in unannounced on DAVID’s afternoon show one day and it has become a wonderfully fun and powerful ministry. 

DAVID explains, “LEANNA was driving past the station after buying some chairs on CRAIGLIST, and she called to ask if she could stop in.   She had never been on radio.  So, like any caring husband, I shoved a microphone in front of her.  Turns out she’s a natural, actually way better than a natural!  She has wonderful gifting in the areas of humor and love for others plus a wildly infectious laugh!  What people hear on the air is exactly the way we are off the air.  We now spend every hour together, 24/7, and we love it!  We work together; go to sleep together and even go to the supermarket together. ”

LEANNA adds, “What more could I ask for?  I get to work with my husband, laugh and cry with my husband and pray for people! She added with a smile, “We may have to get a king-size bed just so we can get away from each other for a little bit.”

Station Manager/RAY HAYNES confirms, “I knew from the first time I heard them that they had to be a radio team! It took some convincing, but they agreed and have quickly changed morning Christian radio here in the ATLANTA/NORTH GEORGIA area.  They are unique in that they are not only extremely funny and engage so well with the audience, but they also glorify real marriage as GOD intended.  With their marriage on display they have been able to minister to so many with a blend of humor and genuine love.  We’re hearing back from all over the world how the STEINS and their marriage are having an impact."

HAYNES continues, “DAVID'S extensive national radio experience along with his powerful testimony of going from Jewish-Atheist to Christian in 2006 and his willingness to share how GOD delivered him from alcohol and drugs have added a spark to our ministry, now heard in over 150 countries."
