TYLER MEDIA Classic Rocker KRXO (currently at 107.7 moving to 104.5)/OKLAHOMA CITY is set to flip to Sports "THE FRANCHISE" any minute now, and soon there will be another Top 40 in the market with translator K243BJ, currently attached to KEBC-A (COMEDY 1560), upgraded from 75 to 120 watts with a move NORTH to cover all of OKC and EDMOND, OK with a city-grade signal.
And, who is gonna be programming this new Top 40, rumored to be called NOW 96.5? All signs point to former KHTT/TULSA and WPUP/ATHENS, GA programming whiz TOD TUCKER.
ALL ACCESS reached out to TUCKER, who is currently a fulltime sales person for COX COMMUNICATIONS for comment. He told ALL ACCESS, "Me? Start a new Top 40 station? Really? Can't give you any info on that but I can sell you a great price on a COX bundle with a 24-month price lock guarantee!"
Stand by to stand by for action.
