Country Music A Winner For ABC-TV
Last NIGHT’s (8/12) broadcast of “CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL: COUNTRY's NIGHT TO ROCK” powered ABC-TV to a win with 8.2 million total viewers and a 2.0 rating/6 share among adults 18-49.
The star-studded show outpaced CBS-TV by 34% in viewers and increased over last year’s CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL telecast by 44% with viewers and 33% among adults 18-49. The show drew its biggest-ever audience for ABC and equaled a seven-year high among adults 18-49.
