Journal/Omaha Names Scott Vowinkle Radio GSM

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP/OMAHA has appointed SCOTT VOWINKLE as its Radio GSM, starting AUGUST 15th. VOWINKLE has served as VP/Business Development for the RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU and as VP/GM for the HISPANIC BROADCASTING CORP.

VOWINKLE will be sharing management duties for JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP/OMAHA's cluster with GSM KRIS CHISTIANSEN, devoting his primary focus to leading the sales efforts of Z-92 (KEZO), CD105.9 (KKCD) and 590 ESPN (KXSP-A).

"SCOTT is a veteran media executive with significant radio and digital sales experience," VP/GM CHRISTOPHER SEHRING said.
