TRAVIS MEDIA Ethnic Brokered WHTY-A/RIVIERA BEACH-WEST PALM BEACH morning host JAMES LEGER has pleaded guilty to passport fraud, reports the SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL.
LEGER admitted to using someone else's identity to get a U.S. passport and to renew it; his plea deal in lieu of a maximum 15 years in prison and $250,000 fine, is pending, and his sentencing is set for OCTOBER. He was arrested MAY 29th and was under a deportation order since 2001, but used the passports under the name WILBERT CARN to travel internationally.
LEGER's RADIO VISION NOUVELLE leased the radio station from TRAVIS MEDIA starting in 2010 to air Haitian programming.
