UMG Nashville Promotes Summer Harlow

UMG NASHVILLE Promotion Coordinator SUMMER HARLOW has been promoted to Dir./West Coast Promotion for the group’s MERCURY label. HARLOW will report directly to MERCURY VP/Promotion DAMON MOBERLY and will oversee all West Coast promotion efforts. 

She succeeds JOE PUTNAM, who announced his departure from the label last month (NET NEWS 7/31).

"Everyone at Mercury Records is excited to have Summer join the Promotion staff.  I'm not sure I've ever met someone more passionate about the Country format,” said MOBERLY.  “We can't wait to turn her loose in the West to begin working on behalf of our talented artists and their music."

HARLOW has been with the label group since 2009, when she began as an assistant. She was later promoted to MCA NASHVILLE Promotion Coordinator and most recently for all UMG NASHVILLE. She is currently based out of NASHVILLE but will relocate to DENVER in the coming months.
