CCM+E Top 40/Rhythmic KMEL/SAN FRANCISCO will moved afternoon driver SANA G. to mornings starting MONDAY, AUGUST 19th.   Anchoring afternoons on KMEL for the past three years, she succeeds longtime morning host CHUY GOMEZ, who leaves the station after more than 20 years on the air

BIG VON, who has been hosting evenings on KMEL, will replace SANA G. during afternoons and SHAY DIDDY will now host evenings.  Current morning co-hosts, MISS KIMMIE and LADY RAY, will remain integral elements of the KMEL morning show.

"SANA has a huge following and proven track record as an entertainment personality," said VP/Programming and KMEL PD DON PARKER. "We are all very excited about her move to mornings."
