KIOI Names Marcus D. For Mornings

CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KIOI (STAR 101.3)/SAN FRANCISCO names former crosstown KLLC (ALICE@97.3) APD/afternoon host MARCUS D. NAJERA to join SANDY STEC for "STAR MORNINGS WITH MARCUS D. AND SANDY" from 6-10a beginning MONDAY (8/26).

MARCUS D. is a NORTHERN CALIFORNIA native and has worked in BAY AREA radio for nearly a decade.  He has also guest hosted on "EYE ON THE BAY" airing on KPIX-TV and the on-going webisode series called "FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY." He replaces FROSTY STILWELL who recently moved to middays on Talk KKSF-A (910) in JUNE.

According to MARCUS D. "STAR 101.3 was literally the first radio station I tuned in to when I moved to the BAY AREA as a kid in the '80's.  I could not be more pumped to join the team, host the morning show and become part of the legacy.  This is my home and I couldn't imagine doing radio anywhere else."
