We're rolling out the red carpet for ALL ACCESS/NASHVILLE Editor R.J. CURTIS' new weekly column: "I'm Here All Week ... Try The 'Ville" ... and R.J. is off to the races with a hard hitting article called "The Peter Principle".
In it, R.J. screams "horse pucky" at TENNESSEAN blogger PETER COOPER who writes: "Country music doesn't need Country radio anymore."
ALL ACCESS President & Publisher JOEL DENVER notes, "R.J.'s unique perspective as a former radio programmer, record exec, and now ALL ACCESS/NASHVILLE Editor will make for a strong read each week. We hope you'll enjoy it, will comment on it, and if you need to tell R.J. 'how ya really feel' go for it."
R.J. added, "Country is the most exciting, vibrant music in America. My position at ALL ACCESS provides a front row seat to what radio, the labels and artists are doing to sustain - and grow -- the format's current momentum. I hope what readers see every week is a glimpse into the many aspects of this business worth sharing, laced with an unflappable belief system in this music and the industry pros who deliver it to Country fans every day."
Make sure to read "I'm Here All Week ... Try The 'Ville" -- it will be posted each THURSDAY. Find it in the ALL ACCESS Country section, here ... and in the Column section, here. You can comment below the article, or email RJ at rjcurtis@allaccess.com.
