She writes, "Today is my last day of working in a fulltime job. Yes, folks. I'm retiring. Now those of you who know me understand that that doesn't mean I'm about to stop running around doing 'things.' It just means I'm starting a new chapter of my life. Freelance and consulting work? Yes! Volunteering? Yes! Writing? Yes! Taking more photos? Yes! And definitely some relaxing and reading too....I've earned it after 45 years of a high-powered, highly rewarding career. Life is good. It has its ups and downs, but as they say, 'it beats the alternative.' On to the next chapter!"
