WOWO's Morning News To Get TV Simulcast

FEDERATED MEDIA News-Talk WOWO-A-F/FORT WAYNE's "FORT WAYNE'S MORNING NEWS WITH CHARLY BUTCHER" will be simulcast for an hour 6-7a (ET) on NBC affiliate WISE-TV (NBC33) starting SEPTEMBER 23rd.  The show will originate from WOWO's studio, being fitted with video equipment.

BUTCHER said, “We’re excited to bring a show we work very hard on every morning to NBC33.  It’s another way for listeners to get a behind the scenes look at what we do and get all the information they need every morning.  I’m not excited that I might need to start wearing make-up.”
 
WOWO PD RYAN REKER added,  “What we’re dong is taking a historic show in the market and advancing it to a new medium.  Finding new platforms for our product is an important part of our station strategy, and we think this is going to make a big impact not only in the market but what should be excepted for news talk stations looking for ways to gain a younger audience share.”
