SUMMIT MEDIA Hot AC WURV (103.7 THE RIVER)/RICHMOND PD MELISSA CHASE tells ALL ACCESS, "I wanted to send news that we hired a real local person to do middays on 103.7 THE RIVER. The shift had been automated since it’s conception (APRIL 2010), so it’s really exciting! We promoted SHARON WINGFIELD from within the SUMMIT MEDIA CORP building. Her previous experience included part time on WKLR (ROCK 96.5), WKHK (K95) and the now-defunct -- but awesome -- WDYL (Y101).

Down the hall, SUMMIT Top 40 WHTI (HOT 100.9) is looking for a PD. The gig includes a weekday on-air shift.
