Record producer and singer/songwriter BARRY WHITE is getting a star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME on his birthday THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th at 10:30a. The ceremony will take place at 6912 HOLLYWOOD BLVD in HOLLYWOOD. WHITE was a two-time Grammy Award winner who earned ten platinum singles and 106 gold albums. He was posthumously inducted into the Dance Music Hall Of Fame in SEPTEMBER of 2004.

 
BARRY WHITE suffered from various health problems in his final years, and passed away on JULY 4th 2003 at the age of 58. The main speaker at his induction will be BERRY GORDY JR.  The public is invited to attend.
