WRCH Morning Talent Allison Demers Resigns

According to the THE HARTFORD COURANT, long-time CBS RADIO AC WRCH (LITE 100.5)/HARTFORD, CT morning talent ALLISON DEMERS will be leaving the station after 13 years with the ALLAN, MIKE & ALLISON morning show.
According to ALLISON DEMER, "My oldest is going to be a senior in high school and I want to be there to do things like visiting colleges with her and being home with them and just doing 'mommy' things. I have been in the radio business for 20 years and done so many wonderful things, I want to do this too to feel accomplished."
Morning show co-host MIKE STACY commented, We are crying buckets of tears. She is irreplaceable."
PD/mornings ALAN CAMP joked, "We really need the estrogen to balance us off."
Station OM STEVE SALHANY added, "We will miss her. She has been part of our family for a long time."
ALLISON DEMERS previously worked at crosstown Top 40 WKCI (KC 101) and was recently ordained as a minister in the FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD and will continue with her missionary work. She will stay with the show until a replacement can be found.
