Continued good news in radio's top 2 markets on the revenue side. YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 8/26) ALL ACCESS reported LOS ANGELES' advertising revenue was up 3.8% over JULY 2012 with 8 of the top 10 advertiser categories growing over the same period.
TODAY we learn NEW YORK Market Radio advertising revenues for the first seven months of 2013 increased 5.8% for Local Spot, up 14.1% for National Spot, up 7.3% for Total Spot and up 6.3% for grand total market revenue according to the NEW YORK Market Revenue Report, prepared by MILLER, KAPLAN, ARASE AND CO., CPAs.
For the month of JULY 2013, NEW YORK Local Spot Revenues were up 8.2% to $34,029. National Spot Revenues were up 8.7% to $8,100. Total Spot Revenues were up 8.3% to $42,129. Total Revenues, including Digital and Network/NTR/Other, were up 7.0% to $48,307.
