FCC Hits Several With Violation Notices

Violation Notices

The FCC has issued Notices of Violation to several more stations and operators.  The notices are not issuances of fines but warn the stations of rule infractions uncovered in inspections.

Among the notices, FAT DAWGS 7 BROADCASTING LLC has been notified of a lighting outage at the tower of Sports KFPT-A (ESPN 790)/FRESNO in CLOVIS, CA;  COCHISE BROADCASTING LLC (in the process of selling the station) has been notified that the FCC could not locate a main studio for Adult Standards KOMJ-A/OMAHA; SEWARD MEDIA PARTNERS was warned of EAS and main studio violations (operating under an expired STA) at AC KSEW-A/SEWARD, AK; KENAI EDUCATIONAL MEDIA was written up for main studio, public file, and EAS violations at noncommercial KIBH/SEWARD, AK; KRIZ BROADCASTING INC. has been notified of apparent public file violations at Smooth Jazz KZIZ-A-KYIZ-A-KRIZ-A/SEATTLE; and ROME RADIO PARTNERS, LLC was written up for EAS violations at Classic Country WZOT-A (HOMETOWN 1220)/ROCKMART, GA.

And Notices of Unlicensed Operation have been issued to DEMETRIO CONTRERAS (LINCOLN PARK, MI); ANTONIO GUADARRAMA (LAKEWOOD, WA); CENTRO CRISTIANO PUERTA DE BENDICION (PACOIMA, CA); BELARMINO AND SONIA LARA (ARLETA, CA); ANGEL AYORA (QUEENS, NY); DANRON REALTY CORPORATION (BRONX, NY); DOROTHY WOODS and LLOYD I. NOLAN (BRONX, NY); AQUA 680 E235, LLC (NEW YORK, NY); NAKI BOAZ (BROOKLYN, NY), and LINCOLN & VALTRICE ST. BERNARD (BROOKLYN, NY).
