Former WMVO-WQIO PD, Host Ron Staats Dies

Condolences to family and friends of longtime WMVO-A-WQIO/MOUNT VERNON, OH PD RON STAATS, who died MONDAY (8/26) at his home in MOUNT VERNON.

STAATS hosted "RADIOLINE" on WMVO as well as handling PD duties.  He had been in radio since 1959 and in MOUNT VERNON for 37 years, exiting WMVO with an ownership change in 2005.

Memorial contributions in RON’s name may be made to ST. JUDE’S CHILDREN HOSPITAL, 501 St. Jude Place, MEMPHIS, TN 38105.
