Townsquare Adds 13 More Country Stations

When the dust settles on TODAY’s CUMULUS-TOWNSQUARE-PEAK deal (NET NEWS 8/30), it will grow TOWNSQUARE’s radio portfolio to 312 stations in 66 markets, making it the third-largest owner of radio stations in the U.S.
The company already owned more than 50 Country stations and will now add 13 more across 11 markets. The latest acquisitions include the following Country properties:
KAWO/BOISE, ID; KHAK/CEDAR RAPIDS, IA; WDBY DANBURY, CT; KFRO/OWATONNA, MN; KDHL/FARIBAULT, MN; WITL/LANSING, MI; WOKQ & WPQK/PORTSMOUTH, NH; WJOD/DUBUQUE, IA; KFIL-AM & FM/ROCHESTER, MN; WXKP/POUGHKEEPISE, NY; and KOEL/WATERLOO, IA.
