WXBQ Newsman Charlie Stuchell Dead At 64

Condolences to family and friends of longtime BRISTOL BROADCASTING COMPANY Country WXBQ/BRISTOL-KINGSPORT-JOHNSON CITY newsman and traffic reporter CHARLIE STUCHELL, who died SUNDAY (9/1) after a battle with cancer in BRISTOL, TN, reports the JOHNSON CITY PRESS.  He was 64.

STUCHELL was also active in the TRI-CITIES' ham radio community; he served as Chairman of the HAMFEST event in GRAY, TN, which is being cancelled for next year and continued in STUCHELL's name in 2015.
