U.K. digital '90s station ABSOLUTE RADIO '90s will air one NFL football game every week, including the SUPER BOWL, plus the two "International Series" games this season.
Coverage begins this SUNDAY with the GREEN BAY-SAN FRANCISCO game at 9p. Game coverage is being produced by USP CONTENT, with ADAM HUNT hosting and DARREN FLETCHER joining for coverage of the SUPER BOWL and the two regular season games to be played at LONDON's WEMBLEY STADIUM. Rock ABSOLUTE RADIO's CHRISTIAN O'CONNELL morning show will also be giving away trips to key games and tickets to the JACKSONVILLE-SAN FRANCISCO WEMBLEY game.
Head of Presentation PAUL SYLVESTER said, “American football’s popularity in the UK is growing incredibly quickly, especially amongst our listeners, and we’re pleased to be bringing it to a new audience. The success of the award-winning Rock N Roll Football shows our listeners’ passion for football and we’re confident they’ll enjoy BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE on SATURDAYS and NFL on SUNDAYS.” The ABSOLUTE RADIO stations are in the process of being sold to BAUER MEDIA.
