WHAS Adds Leland Conway For 9a-Noon

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WRVA-A/RICHMOND afternoon host LELAND CONWAY is adding midday duties at sister Talk WHAS-A/LOUISVILLE, effective SEPTEMBER 16th. CONWAY, a KENTUCKY native and former host at WLAP-A/LEXINGTON,  replaces MANDY CONNELL, who recently left to join sister talk KHOW-A/DENVER, in the 9a-noon slot.  He will continue to host 3-6p (ET) at WRVA.

"This is an exciting appointment for 84WHAS Radio and the Kentuckiana community.  We talked to many highly qualified and experienced on-air personalities, but LELAND’s talents really shined brightly," said Regional Programming Manager KELLY CARLS.  "His wit, energy and longstanding KENTUCKY roots make him a great fit.  We’re extremely happy he’s returning to the BLUEGRASS STATE.”
