The 14th Annual Eric & Kathy Radiothon Raises $1,454,327.29

HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC WTMX (101.9 THE MIX)/CHICAGO raised $1,454,327.29 for ANN & ROBERT H. LURIE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF CHICAGO, formerly CHILDREN’S MEMORIAL HOSPITAL during the 14th Annual ERIC & KATHY Radiothon.  With the help from corporate backing from companies like WALGREENS and FIFTH THIRD BANK and CHICAGO Sports celebrities like DUNCAN KEITH and BRENT SEABROOK from the BLACKHAWKS, every dollar raised during the ERIC & KATHY Radiothon stays in CHICAGO and will be used for pediatric research, patient care, education and advocacy efforts.

From 6a-8p on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th, ERIC & KATHY broadcasted live from the Crown Sky Garden of LURIE CHILDREN’S, airing the stories of children battling critical, or even fatal conditions in hopes of helping other children in need.

The money raised will be used locally for pediatric research, patient care, education and advocacy.  Since it began in 2000, the ERIC & KATHY Radiothon has raised more than $23 million for LURIE CHILDREN’S.
