Greg Strassell And CBS Radio Part Ways

Shocker!  CBS RADIO SVP/Programming GREG STRASSELL is leaving his post effective, TODAY (9/9), after 15+ years with the company.

EVP/Programming CHRIS OLIVIERO commented, in a company memo: "He is moving on to other opportunities within the industry and I know that you all join me in thanking GREG for his many years of contributions to CBS RADIO, as well as wishing him and his family all the best in the future.

"On a personal note, I have worked side by side with GREG for nearly a decade and know firsthand his passion and dedication to our radio stations, and of course you our fellow programmers.  I have enjoyed partnering with him to help build an outstanding portfolio of stations and world class brands.  But most importantly I appreciate his friendship all these years.

"I look forward to following up shortly with more updates in regards to the programming department in the near future."
