CCM+E/DETROIT VP/Programming and Top 40 WKQI (CHANNEL 955) PD TONY TRAVATTO reports that Promotion Dir./weekend-swinger STICK (aka SAM DAY, not STICK from WNOU) is trading up to APD/MD/nights.

TRAVATTO told ALL ACCESS, "STICK is DETROIT, and I'm excited to have him shift into the programming department. He's great on and off the air and is as competitive a person as you will meet. He will help keep CHANNEL 955 as the leading Top 40 in DETROIT."

And STICK added, "I couldn't be more proud to hold the same programming position as one of my mentors, BEAU DANIELS.  To be on the air full time in my home town is very special to me.  I can't wait to bring a true night show back to DETROIT."
