Melissa Moore Exits Way-FM, Heads To KYGO Denver

Headed To The Mile High City

MELISSA MOORE, afternoon host for WAY MEDIA Contemporary Christian WAY-FM/NASHVILLE, is headed to the ROCKIES to join the team at LINCOLN FINANCIAL Country KYGO (98.5)/AURORA-DENVER for middays. Prior to NASHVILLE, MELISSA had worked for various radio stations in DENVER, as well as MINNEAPOLIS and ORLANDO. She will be at her new post effective TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1st.

"Midday is the final piece in the rebuilding of KYGO, We had over 350 applicants for the position and MELISSA was the perfect choice,” said KYGO PD EDDIE HASKELL. “She is a great personality, understands the values of the Country listener and knows DENVER. I can't wait for her to join the new team at the legendary KYGO!" 

MOORE fills the vacancy created in MARCH, when ALISHA SCOTT returned to mornings at CUMULUS Country KATC/COLORADO SPRINGS (NET NEWS 3/2).

WAY-FM PD JEFF CONNELL tells ALL ACCESS, "We appreciate MELISSA'S contributions at WAY-FM over the past two years.  This is a great thing for MELISSA'S family and wish her well in this new chapter.  Middays has been filled by JOY SUMMERS, formerly of JEFF & JOY on WAY-FM/FORT MYERS, and I am now searching for our next afternoon show.  Solo or team, if you have a passion for doing great radio to influence this generation to love and follow JESUS ... we want to hear from you."
