CNN EN ESPAÑOL RADIO will now be offered in an additional 10 markets in LATIN AMERICA under an expansion of the network's distribution deal with STARDOME NETWORKS. The network currently already services 13 markets in the region. STARDOME will add English and Portuguese language offerings along with the standard lineup.
"We are thrilled by this partnership with STARDOME that sees CNN EN ESPAÑOL's compelling content distributed further into the region," said RODOLFO PROAÑO, Manager CNN Content Sales for LATIN AMERICA and the CARIBBEAN. "We are delighted that this expansion deal will allow us to reach a broader audience and deepen our already strong commitment to LATIN AMERICA, well in line with our efforts to offer a true multiplatform experience to our audiences."
"The CNN EN ESPAÑOL RADIO top of the hour newscast business has proven to be very successful for STARDOME. It goes without saying that CNN is the most notable brand of news and information for Latinos everywhere. This follow up deployment of both expanded content and additional territories displays TURNER's trust in STARDOME as its radio partner and reaffirms its shared commitment along with STARDOME to serve the local communities of Latinos in both the U.S. and LATIN AMERICA with compelling programming of interest," said ANTHONY HERNANDEZ, Managing Director/CEO of STARDOME RADIO NETWORKS. "We look forward with much anticipation to expanding into this new chapter of content distribution with our CNN partners in covering the globe's Western Hemisphere in 24 countries."
