L & L Broadcasting To Purchase YMF Media In Columbia, SC

L & L BROADCASTING of PORTLAND, OR has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase five radio stations in COLUMBIA, SC owned by YMF MEDIA, LLC. The stations are WWDM WHXT, WMFX, WARQ and WOIC-AM.

Effective immediately and pending FCC approval, the YMF stations will be operated by L & L pursuant to a local marketing agreement.

CLEAR CHANNEL's ALOHA STATION TRUST, LLC is selling Talk WPHR-F (RUSH RADIO 94.7)/GIFFORD-VERO BEACH, FL to MITCHELL RUBENSTEIN and LAURIE SILVERS' R&S RADIO LLC for $1.85 million.

In other filings with the FCC, GS RADIO OF ILLINOIS, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WZRK/NORTHBROOK, IL "for business reasons while it explores various transmitter sites" for its new community of license (it is moving from LAKE GENEVA, WI).

REACH COMMUNICATIONS has closed on the sale of FM translator W271AP/JACKSONVILLE, FL to CHESAPEAKE-PORTSMOUTH BROADCASTING CORP. for $200,000.

OWENSVILLE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of the construction permit for a new FM at  LAS VEGAS, NM to SANGRE DE CRISTO BROADCASTING CO., INC. for $30,000.

And LOPESTER BROADCASTING has closed on the sale of the construction permit for a new FM at WHITEHALL, MT to THE MONTANA RADIO CO., LLC for $22,000.
