WDVE's Sixth Annual Children's Radiothon Raises $556,784

CCM+E Classic Rock WDVE/PITTSBURGH has announced that the sixth annual ‘DVE ROCKS FOR CHILDREN's RADIOTHON raised $556,784 for CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL of PITTSBUGH of UPMC.‘DVE ROCKS FOR CHILDREN's RADIOTHON was held over the last three days with the help of donations from 3,929 listeners and sponsors.
Throughout the three-day event WDVE broadcast live from the EAT'N PARK ATRIUM at CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL and listeners heard inspirational stories from kids undergoing treatment and care. Donations from the event will provide the highest quality, individualized care for children when they need it most.
Listeners also signed up to become ‘DVE Rock Stars by making a monthly donation at a minimum of $10.00.
"We are thrilled that WDVE raised more than $566,784 for CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL of PITTSBURGH,” said TIM MCALEER,CCM+E Market Manager for PITTSBURGH. "Our success is due solely to the generosity of ‘DVE listeners. A huge thank you to all who helped us surpass our fundraising goal."
